coinor-clp software package provides Coin-or linear programming solver, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coinor-clp
coinor-clp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coinor-clp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coinor-clp *
You will get with coinor-clp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
